Running clinical trials and obtaining results is what clinical development is all about. Sharing results is very important too. Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A. and its affiliated companies (Chiesi) are EPFIA members, and therefore are committed to clinical trial transparency. Currently all Chiesi studies are recorded on www.clinicaltrials.gov.

Patient-Level Results

Following EPFIA and PhRMA Principles for Responsible Data Sharing, Chiesi will share with qualified medical researchers conducting legitimate research, detailed documents from trials in patients for products approved in the U.S. and EU after 1.1.2015. The Chiesi system for receiving and reviewing research proposals, the expected content of the submitted research proposal, constraints and expectations of the researchers are currently under development.

Lay Summary Results

Chiesi is also committed to informing patients about the clinical trials in which they participated.  Factual summaries of trial results, following EFPIA principles, will be shared with trial participants.

Scientific Literature Journal Publications

Chiesi is also committed to publishing results for all registered interventional trials regardless of study outcome  in scientific journals.
